  • Funding from Barkleigh?

Has anyone tried getting funding from Barkleigh? I know they offer funding over 100k for pet related businesses and wondered how hard it is to get approval. Input anyone?

    Funding?

That is very interesting. Where did you find the info about this? I wonder if there is an address to contact for additional info.

There's info at www.barkleighfunding.com. I was wondering to if it is hard to get a loan. Haven't tried yet though.

I believe they only do expansions, not new businesses so far. If I read correctly a while ago. Otherwise, I would have considered it.

            Email I received

Here's part of the email I received from Barkleigh.

Pet Professionals-- Are you planning to build, remodel or expand your facilities in the next year? Perhaps Barkleigh Commercial Funding, Inc. (BCF) can assist with financing.

Barkleigh, publishers of Groomer to Groomer magazine and owner of the industry's biggest shows, knows the pet care services industry and can often get financing that you can not obtain on your own.

Why would Barkleigh offer these services? Pet Pros often have difficulty getting financing because banks don't understand the pet industry and the huge potential of pet services. What happens? You don't get the money you need.

If you have a project that is OVER $100,000 please complete the quick form and Dave Shorter, our director, will contact you. Go to:
            https://www.barkleigh.com/bcf_qualifying_data.htm

For on-line resources, go to http://www.barkleighfunding.com/

            Sincerely,
            Sally Liddick
            President, Barkleigh Productions, Inc.

This is actually ideal for us as we're looking to expand not start new. Anyhow I just need to get my lazy self busy on writing a business plan since that's one of the first things they want to know if you've done.
