  • Non Mobile vehicle advertising

I was wondering who has ads on their personal vehicle ( for those that arent mobile)

I want to do this but not sure of the downfalls.. or tips that work best etc..

I have magnets but I hear that sometimes insurance companies can deny a claim stating it is your business vehicle.

The other issue I have been warned about is taking them off when going to people's homes so nobody stalks you. If like me I have pet-stting, dog walking and in home grooming on there.

A scumbag might see this and realize that people may not be home where you are visiting

I have car magnets for my housecall. I have the same logo on my cards & website.( I have to take them off the days I work in the salon, they don't like having my car parked out front with my housecall info on it,,,lol, wonder why???) I use it more for name branding than getting new business. Most all my calls come from my web site. I know this because the number on my web site is different from the number on my car. But I figure it can't hurt to have people see my logo zipping around town. I have seen several other places that have graphics on their cars advertising their boarding and grooming facilities that are non mobile.

In Ontario, I can't put any business advertising on the car unless I get business insurance through the vehicle insurance company - and that costs an arm and a leg. Also, there are certain roads in my city that are deemed "non-commercial vehicles only" - which means that if I had commercial advertising on my vehicle, I am banned from driving on those roads. Makes getting around my city a tad difficiult then.
