Well, it sounds like they're providing everything a groomer could ask for as far as equipment. Things like clipper vacs and shampoo systems. If the company takes care of the employees they'll probably do really well. I'll be really interested to see what their pricing is.
The only reason I would never, ever, bring my dog to their salon would be parking. I don't know about everyone else's Walmarts, but the one here is a madhouse and you always have to walk a distance to the store with people driving like idiots.don't find yourself up a creek without a poodle.

yes our walmart is like that also. our walmart wont ever have a grooming salon because petsmart is right down the strip LOL!
at least they took into consideration that some dogs dont handle well and have provided a table out of view of the window. id just hate to see TWO groomers who each have a bad dog LOL!

I like the air purifiers, central vacs in the floors and clipper vacs. It sounds like it's going to be a nice place to work. The closed circuit security camera on ya might be a little weird. They say their going to have pet hotels too. I feel bad though cause it seems like there trying to dominate every market.

i love how they have that setup! the grooming area looks cute, clean and tidy. the bathing area...oh man look at those tubs! all against one wall...so there isnt any fighting over the tubs LOL! it all looks so nice and clean and definately professional. very very nice.
i have to say...if they opened one in my walmart i guess i would bring my dog JUST to see LOL!

certified??
when you first read it ..and it says certified i thought wow certified (like cmg) thats great, as you read further...i think they mean certified by PCS. don't the other petsomethings 'certify' their groomers after they attend the classes they offer?? for anyone who has worked at petsomething...how long is the 'training' period before you are certified??
