  • Sleeping Dogs Lie

    I read this on a blog -

    "I have heard that a dog's year is equivalent to 7 human years, which explains a lot! If time for dogs is 7 times that of a human then it is no wonder my dog is bouncing off the walls when I get home from work. I've only been gone for the day, but to the dog it's been like a WEEK!

    So he's a wreck! "Where have you been, man?! I thought you were never coming home!"

    =====================
    So here is picture of my Rat named ROCKETdog fast asleep on another winter's night at the Jersey Shore. According to the theory above, he is getting 7 hours of sleep for every one that I get. LUCKY DOG!

      Hehe cute pictures. About the 7 yr rule, that has changed. It is 7 yrs for the first yr and it changes after that. My vet has a chart listing the age and differences. Here are 2 of my sleeping beauties. Can you say CRASHED....lol

            In the pic with the cat, it looks like the cat is saying..."Did you hear something? I think I heard a noise...."

              I think I was laying on the floor talking to him to take the picture. He really loves his big brother. Sonny could care less.

                  Lauren that's too funny, it doesn't look very comfy but he must be if he fell asleep.

                    She always sleeps in the most awkward positions! In fact we call her Snoopy, you know, because he slept on the top of the dog house?

                    EEK! I just realized that theres toilet paper in the picture!

                          Lauren, your pup looks sooooo comfy NOT! But she looks soooooo cute!
                          It amazes me how these pets of ours can just plop down anywhere and sleep.
                          After seeing all these sleeping pups I think I'm getting sleepy too, can hardly keep my eyes open.
                          I better move on to something that is a little more exciting!!!!

                            I know it is crazy. And they can sleep ON the most uncomfortable things too! I've seen then sleeping on hard, or sharp objects, I mean I feel a crumb on my bed, lol.
