  • Rapuzzled 2010 Track Record

Here goes a continuing journey for me. I started going for a healthier lifestyle in May of 2008. I started going to the gym daily and watching what I ate.

I was 275 LBS. Since then I have lost a total of 90 LBS. I am now at 185 LBS.

(I had gotten to down to 182 about a month ago, but gained a tiny bit over the holidays, but now I'm right back on track...I feel pretty good about coming out of the holidays with just 3 extra pounds...I can work that off pretty easily.)

My ultimate goal is 140, so I have about 45 LBS to go.

(It seemed such an impossible goal when I started a year and a half ago, but now it feels really close!!)

Plus! my sister's wedding is in April and I'm the maid of honor so my short term goal for now is to get down twenty pounds for that.

Terrific job in just a year.
Keep up the great work and let's all celebrate when you hit your 100.

Sorry, I forgot about this thread so I never saw your post! I have definitely noticed health benefits. For one thing it's great to go up and down a flight of stairs without being out of breath, lol. But overall I just feel so much better. I've never realized how much eating and exercise has to do with how you feel! Even my skin is better, no breakouts, and my nails aren't as brittle as they used to be! My heart rate was always dangerously high before because I was so overweight and now it's in a nice healthy range, low actually!
