Hanvey fan
They are a very good investment. Saves your back. I'd suggest the LIPS system as well. If you are tall go for the taller one so the feet are chest high on the itty bitty ones. if under 5'4" then the regular one is great. It will last for years and years. Great that you can wheel it to the tub and have the dogs step in. I'm a fan if you can't tell.

Thanks for the responses. My husband thinks I should go with electric. I just didn't want something that would cause trouble down the road. He did mention Hydrolic seals can leak and that was mentioned. I liked how low they go. I saw and electric one a groomer was using and it was REAL WOBBLY I'm sure it didn't start that was though. Is the foot pump a bummer to use?

My table is electric (Edemco, not the hanvey which I wish I would have gotten). I can say that there are down sides to electric as well. I would much rather have leaking seals where the table CAN still be used the remainder of the day and then get fixed than having the switch on my table go out and that table won't move but one direction until it is fixed. I have had the switch go out on my table twice in 3 years, it would go down, but not up and of course while trying to work with it, I just had to push the down when the up didn't work and made the table that much harder to work on. There is NO manual way of moving that table at all, it has to be done electoniclly. When I do replace mine down the road, it WILL be the hanvey elevator table and it will be hydraulic.

I have an edemco hydraulic table now for 8 years, never leaks..never a problem. Im glad to have come across this thread cause I was thinking about an electric table, gosh that would suck if that thing quit working! I'll stick to my hydraulic!! maybe just a bigger and better one next time!

sigh
In my dreams, the centerpiece of my shop would be
an electric table with the lighted top. I see the spotlight
shining down on it, and an angelic chior singing AHHHHHHHH!
Gonna be a while for on of those.
But someday I WILLL have one.
