My Husband and I did it all ourselves except for the inverter, that was installed by professionals. I need to take new pics...recently I used a paint on the roof that made it white and also insulated it much better than it was before. I also got new wheels and tires. Next is new bumpers and hardware, I kind of like restoring the old girl, keeps me interested.

Oh it's so cute. It kind of reminds me of the armored trucks. I think that's because the wheels are all black. But I just love it!

Where did you find your truck? I want to do a conversion myself (for financial reasons) and I like how your truck looks.

Mary Pawpins...what a cool name...Is that the name of your business too?

I found the truck in the local Auto/Truck Trader and it was being sold by, can you believe, a seasoned mobile groomer who was planning on converting it and selling it all done. But with being so busy running her own and knowing that I was just getting started she gave me a huge deal( its worth twice as much as I paid for it, and you'd be surprised how these stepvans hold thier value, new ones go for 30k and more completly empty)
Then the grooming angel that she is, she helped my husband and I with pointers about converting it ourselves, we did it all except the inverter system. I even have a shower in it for big ol dogs.
Then she even gave me her overflow business and I've been runnin strong ever since.

I've got everything the big money trucks have, and no payment! Love It!

Very nice. Did you do your website yourself as well? I am having trouble making a site...I started one about a year ago and well...don't have much on it! lol, you can check it out pickypawsonine.com (all that's on there has been there for a year)! LOL, I got so frustrated, I just left it! What is there I don't want anyways...I want to take it down and start over but I don't know how to erase what I do have! LOL, talk about a mess! How did you go about converting your own truck? What all did you do? I want to do my own trailer, but I have no idea how/where to start. I looked it up in the internet, but had zero luck finding a site with a do it yourself guide. Thanks in advance for any info! And congrats on your awesome site and truck!
