Bichon I did yesterday

Here is a bichon that I groom. I wished I had gotten a before picture as he was really dirty and a little matted. Had matts on his feet from chewing, so they don't look so good. The owner tends to go back to my daughter that works at the vet office when he can't get into me and a couple months ago she took the hair short under and around his ears, and a few months ago he had to be done in a 4f, as he was matted, so doesn't have long hair in places he should have. I am almost sure that I will have to do a kennel clip the next time, as he will only bring the dog in once a month and no brushing in between.

That's really cute, nonetheless. I have a heck of a time with bichon heads. I can't do anything but the typical round heads. I'd love to get a better shape to them, but I'd need 1-on-1 help for that.

Yet another amazing groom! This Bichon is beautiful and I love his feet as well!! After all the hard and great work doesn't it make you shutter knowing you might have to kennel clip him at his next groom? Aaahhhhhh

I personal believe that Bichons should not allowed to be pet after grooming, in case people " pet down " the dogs' nice hair.

This ones coat is verily soft but still bouces back pretty good. I combed and brushed him and made him shake a lot to make sure he would not get uneven when he left. It does upset me that he will be a mess when he comes back. His owners just don't get it. He could be so pretty if they would keep him up. He is actually the nicest one I do, but he is a noisey spoiled brat.
