This is Pebbles a Yorkie that comes twice a year. Her owner is a nice old man and she and him are great companions. He only has her groomed twice a year and he likes it SHORT. She was a fire cracker when she was younger, but now she is about 8 and very easy going about the whole grooming thing.
Her face isn't perfect, but considering dad got after her with the scissors it didn't turn out too bad.

She came out good. is she usually matted when u groom her? do u care that the owner brings her only 2x a year?

I typically don't do OAY dogs but Pebbles is an exception. Her owner is a nice old guy who LOVES this dog, he just doesn't get it that she should be groomed more often. She is usually not matted just messy. Sometimes a few mats on her inner leg, but that is about it. He brushes her and gives her baths they are really good buddies.

I have a couple of older clients that don't bring their pets in more than twice a year too. I wouldn't ever send them away to someone else. They are just too special. They love those little companions, and you can see the love returned to the owner.
