  • Shih Tzu before and afters (from a newbie groomer)!

Well...I am a week or so away from graduating with my grooming training (started March 1st)! I found a local shop who was willing to train me and it has worked out so well. Now I am just waiting to see when they are officially ready to "set me free" (well, I will be working for them after wards, LOL).

Bailey was groomed by me last week and Suki was groomed by me yesterday (Friday). I've only been grooming (ehh..or is scissoring the word?) for about a month, technically, since the first month of schooling was a lot of bathing and clipper work.

very nicely done! it looks like you didnt have too much coat to work with on those dogs tho, which is a bit unfortunate, im guessing the owners just like to keep the coats pretty short. I like the you did that second Shih Tzu's head, very cute. In the before picture i was trying to figure out what that giant tuft of hair was on the dogs head lol, looked very messy. but anyways yea good job

Nice work. Good attention to details and remember to back brush.
