  • Cocker Mix

So here is my parent's cocker mix on all angles before & after. She's has the worst hair thanks to a great balanced diet of Kibbles N Bits along with quite a wavy texture. It's also like cotton. She's quite a challenge. Looking for some constructive criticism. Hoping to improve! Just please don't be too harsh

Also, do you think the cut fits her? I keep thinking about shaving her ears or shaving the skirt off. I have to leave the legs to some degree because she has tiny chicken legs! Lol!!

    Name: Habit
    Breed: Cocker Mix? We think?
Haircut: Sports Clip (straight skirt, ears and tail trimmed only a little)
Time spent: 30-45 minutes washing and drying, 2 1/2 hours grooming

I think she looks great, I wouldn't mess with her skirt. One thing I would do is blend the skirt under her belly to make it look more natural ( is prop not correct, but I hate straight lines). I once I get it even, I blend with my thinners and curved shears.

              Nice job

Is that dog just about wide enough to be a walking coffee table?? Looks like it, lol, although I've seen many that are wider.

              Very nice job.

Thank you guys so much! I tried my best.

Rudyroo - I couldn't decide whether or not to make the line at a diagonal and I'm bad at skirts to begin with so I figured, meh, why not make it straight! :P I'll definitely try to angle it next time.

caninecrazy - You just gave me a marvelous idea *devious smile* Extensions sound fun!!!

Debbiedogs - Ohhhh my lanta. I haven't laughed so hard in forever!!!! I told my mom and she grumbled. It was hysterical! She is in denial that the baby (Habit is the youngest) is fat, but my man and I both agree up and down on that topic!!!!

Opps, sorry, I didn't mean at an angle, I just mean I would feather it to make it look like a more natural line.

Oh, sorry! I misunderstood. :P I'll definitely try to do that next time.
