    Lawrenceburg native working dream job in Frankfort
    Whether she’s working with a 1,000-pound horse, a 160-pound Bernese Mountain dog, a 3-pound Yorkshire, or a 7-pound cat, Niki Moore is right in her element. Since she was 5 years old, she can remember grooming her mother’s dog.

    “I’ve always been one of those kids that runs around playing with the dogs,” Moore said.

    Growing up in town in Lawrenceburg, Moore said her family had a schnauzer, Pomeranian and a couple of Labrador retrievers.

    She also had guinea pigs.

    “I pretty much took all the care of the animals,” she said.

    After Moore married Darren Moore, she moved to Frankfort — his hometown — 11 years ago. They bought property in the Bald Knob area and now have two children — Anna, 7, and Wyatt, 5 — and two horses, a pony, a dog and chickens.................
