The Grosse Pointe Animal Society is currently caring for Dakota, a 6-7 year old Shihtzu Mix that was found seriously neglected. He'll soon be ready for adoption. Dakota's condition when he was found highlights the need for proper grooming, especially for certain breeds. Non shedding or low shedding dogs are very popular.
