  • Dog Loses Part of Ear at Groomer

    http://fox8.com/2015/10/20/dog-loses...t-the-groomer/

A local pet owner was horrified to discover that part of her dog's ear was cut off................
Coordinators post updates to the message for grooming events, members contests, PG.com Classified Ads, GroomerTALK Radio shows and PG.com Magazine online.

OH great. Now we're going to have a spat of hysterical owners checking ears for cuts. If they would have also reported on how to properly brush take care of the ears it would have been a more balanced report ( IMHO)

I rarely use scissors on ears. I use my bravura with the lay of the coat usually on 40 and cut the hair as if they were scissors rather than shave the hair, if that makes sense. I use it regardless of the length I wish to keep as well. I find it much easier and safer for me to use the clipper on both ears equally well and I never worry about cutting or nicking an ear.
