  • Primp My Paws Mobile Grooming Raises Money for H.S. with Nail Trims

WATERVILLE — Loyal Biscuit Co. hosted a nail clipping clinic Aug. 22 at their Waterville location to benefit the Humane Society Waterville Area. Ten pets had their nails trimmed and clipped down by professional groomer Michelle Gerald and her daughter Melissa Lemik of Primp My Paws Mobile Pet Grooming. In total, $100 was raised for the humane society, according to a news release from the Loyal Biscuit.

“Regular nail trims are an important part of keeping your pets safe and healthy. If they’re not maintained it can often result in broken nails or, in extreme cases, the nails can grow into the pads of the animal’s feet resulting in very painful wounds that need medical attention. Not only were we able to raise money to supply dog and cat food to one of our local shelters, but we were also able to educate and help owners maintain the health of their pets,” said Heidi Neal, owner of the Loyal Biscuit Co., in the release.
