Oh my! That poor dog. I can't even begin to imagine the pain. I'm so happy that he's healed well. I dont have a paper shredder, but I'm sure if I did that would definitely be dangerous in my house.

We keep an old large plastic bag that fits perfectly over out paper shredder when we're not using it.

I saw on news a darling little girl lost fingers in the shredder..csn happen to children too! i keep mine unplugged and dogs in another room when I use it now. w Ho'd a thought?

We just did a little spring cleaning last week. Bought a paper shredder, got rid of old checks and other papers. As we were shredding my little Min Pin was on my lap growling at the noise of the shredder. Thought it was so cute, now I'm not so sure. Won't have the dogs around us when we are shredding paper. Never thought of the dog getting hurt with it. Thanks Stephen for posting that story.
