  • Lindsey Dicken (Berry) Seminar in Michigan, March 14th

    Sunday, March 14th 9am-4pm
    Jackson, Michigan

Lindsey Dicken, NCMG (formerly Berry) will be hosting a day long, hands on seminar for all levels of groomers. Having trouble with tuck ups? Just can’t get that head right? Thinking of competing? Bring your dog, any breed, and Lindsey will help you make it look it’s best.
Lindsey will go over each dog in front of the class, and show how simple changes can have drastic results. In addition to working one on one with each groomer/dog, Lindsey will be doing a demonstration of the modified puppy trim on a toy poodle. She will show you how to set the pattern using clippering and scissoring techniques, and also how to balance the dog and correct faults.

To register for this seminar, please email Doug for an entry form ([email protected]), and submit it before February 26th. Cost is $75 per groomer if you are bringing your own dog, and $50 to observe. Please bring your own table/arm, grooming tools, and a crate. Bathing facilities will be available at The Classy Canine if needed (located one block from seminar location). Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Lindsey is a world class groomer, with several Best in Shows and Best All Around Groomer awards. She has competed all over the country, and has won with several breeds, including Bichons Frises, poodles, Clumber spaniels, Kerry Blue terriers, wheaten terriers, and several mixed breeds. In 2009, Lindsey won International Groomer of the Year at Intergroom, with a Bichon Frise. She was the #1 ranked groomer in the nation for 2009, and traveled to Germany with Groom Team USA in September to compete in the World Team Grooming Championship. She helped bring home the gold for the USA, winning a gold medal with a Bichon Frise. In addition to competing in grooming contests, she also shows Bichons Frises and Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers.
Don’t miss this opportunity to improve your skills in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with one of the best groomers in the country. Sign up early as space is limited!
