  • Dark colored Standard Needed for Intergroom

Wondering if anyone out there has a darker (meaning anything other than white) colored Standard for possible use at Intergroom. Prefer one with good confirmation and enough coat to do a nice scissored sporting. We have run into a glitch with a dog that we were going to use...
    Thanks!

Worst case, I have a Silver, with terrible conformation but a great coat!

Hey, I appreciate the offer. We are really hoping the girl we want to take doesn't come into heat...the person using her is already used to her (plus she is his dog, and we all love to travel with our own doggies!), and it is so hard to keep changing dogs all the time! Does this dog have enough coat to do a lot of corrective grooming since you say she doesn't have good conformation? We are just trying to cover all bases! Thanks again!

He has abundant coat as thick as carpet, (I have shaved him before with a 7 and finished him with a 1 five weeks later) but terrible confirmation. Right now he has approx 2-3 inches all over non-matted. He basically is built like a huge bedlington. I figured if all else failed, I could visit family up there, and let you at him. He has a good tail set and that is about it, he's blind and his feet are even east west. I could ask my mom though (in MN) if she knows anyone. She shows aussies and may know of show poodle people up there with someone retired.

Hey, I am from MN! We could pick up a dog! As it looks, this girl isn't going to come into season, but I don't know. If she isn't in by Sunday, we can take here because they don't need her until the 9th day. We are hoping for that...This girl is from Jennifer Dege-she is who we borrow all of our dogs from pretty much. She knows lots of people and so far, we come up with nothing. It is a long story!

Sure was!! I didn't know the competition was soo close, My Standard would defiantly not have enough coat to hide his massive probs in two weeks, but I have people checking your area for one!! Hopefully, there will be a back up, or something for your co-workers to groom!!
