  • Desperatly seeking a sporting dog to finish IPG, PNW show end of March

Hello I just found out that I have the chance to make it to Pacific Northwest Grooming Show and with IPG not collecting fees till the 31st, I wanted to take advantage.

I need a cocker or sporting dog for the day Sunday, I would compete and try to certify with the same dog.

Entries close Mar. 15 so I need to find one quickly.
Craigslist has not proved lucky for me.

    Kindness is Random.

    Sorry

Wish I could help I know when you get the chance you need to take it...I have the same dilemma I want more than anything to start going after my Master's but finding the right breeds and the time to put into them is almost impossible exspecially when you can't afford to travel to all these shows...Good Luck to you!! I have faith you will find one!

      Potential Competition Cocker

Okay so picking are slim, and with one weeks to go, I found a 9year old american cocker,
I am looking for the opinion of other competitior to see if this dog will work.

I have never groomed this dog but it is owned but a groomer.

      the question is

      is it too short?
thoughts of doing a clipped cocker over a hand stripped cocker?

pic is of today with almost 2 weeks to grow.
