    Hey, I have an opportunity to start grooming at a new startup mobile grooming. I would not be an owner but an employee. They implied that it would be a salaried position.

    I have never worked on salary. What are some things I should ask and cover before i agree. In my head I'm thinking long hours and 5-6 days.

    What are some of the things you now know that you wish you did before.

    I would do the math of how much i make per year on commission at my best and ask for 10% more than that in salary. Knowing I will be working more hours than required of a non salary and no overtime. (I live in california so that's how it goes here)
