  • Keeping Landlord's happy

I am thinking of putting my shop in a historical village near me. The buildings and shops are unique and fun. Lots of boutiques.

One thing that concerns me is the Village wants to preserve these historical buildings. Most have old hardwood floors.

If I'm running a daycare I worry about damaging the floors. Do you think schlacking the wood is enough to protect it from water damage, urine, and hyper dog destruction?

I think you need to talk to the landlord about the flooring. Even treated, the wood would be very hard to clean and disinfect. Maybe you could overlay it with a sheet vinyl that could be removed later.
Old groomers never die, they just go at a slower clip.

    Groom on!!!
