A customer, well-to-do and very busy had her maid give me money for the every three week groomed dog last time. The maid asked how much, and I said my price. The maid gave me the price, understandably. But I felt bad as I left knowing the owner always gave me a ten dollar tip. Well I boltstered myself up saying to myself it was certainly good money, lovely dog and I do charge enough. So I called today to remind the woman of tomorrow's visit, and the busy woman said, "How much did the maid give you?" I informed, and she said sorry, it should have been the amount with the ten dollar tip, and that she'd take care of that visit, and to always tell the maid the higher price.
I was touched that this so involved woman thought to check weeks later and to make sure I get the money she wants me to have. Also gave another plus reason to do reminder calls.
