    Question Springer spaniel cuts

When you are doing a traditional springer spaniel cut you are supossed to make a spot in the hind area that is a little shorter than the skirt and such to accent that hind muscle.

Should that accent spot be the same length as the body or just a little longer than the body but not quite as long as the skirting? Is this even done on show springers? Does my question even make sense? Hehe. I appreciate the help!

I do the same blade as on the body, you make a little triangle, blending off into the longer areas on the rear and front of the stifles.
I do believe it is done on the show dogs, only they don't have blades run on them.

Springer should grow this way naturally.... but I do the same as above, take it the same length if using a blade or strip/de-shed the area along with the back.
