Emma tell me if I am right and I am not sure how I am stating this exactly. This applies to groomers of dogs, but to groom cats and be really good at it...you have to to like void any fears, show love, but be VERY NEUTRAL. Calm, focused, strong minded to say the least. Neutral, nothing come off you other than you are neutral, quite within, focused, ready for anything and nothing not a sign that the cat should fear you. Does that make sense?

Helen is pretty calm with cats, as you can see in the video, so I agree with you.
In my experience, many cats are tolerant of all sorts of silly human behavior, bless 'em, so even a scattered, anxious person can groom cats- they're just more likely to need to restrain the cat more, and should wear protective gloves, etc. , because they may not be able to read the cat's body language.
