Confused!

I've been tasked with looking at grooming software for booking appointments, but I've no idea where to start. The person I'm working with wants an actual booking software, not a Calander +address book if that makes sense? I've only used either a paper diary with client cards, or a vet geared system.

I've looked at groomsoft, petlinx, shake your tail and moego (although, thisone seems more tailored to mobile groomers)

Do any of you use these?
How easy are they to install, set up and use?
Is it worth doing the free trials?
How easy are issues rectified?

I'm really bad with technology and while I've used a vet based system, it took me a while to get used to it.

Ideally id like one where you can add a warning /note regards behaviour/triggers that are clearly noticeable.

Any help would be appriciate as I'm a totally out of my depth

My suggestion is to do the free trial. No harm in doing it. How else will you know?
Personally, when in doubt I go with the most popular one that has been around the longest.
As for you being bad with technology, any technolgy that is hard to use is flawed. In other words, it is them, not you. Design should make it intuitive.
