    Default Prose APP for grooming

Admin people you hit the nail on the head with your AI article. I am talking with Prose and I think they love your idea about custom shampoo formulation for every dog. The future is here. Please look for my PM.

I read an article about the Prose app making shampoos and conditioners in high end salons, and this is the future. Admin you are right. I don't know how long but I see all groomers making smart shampoos and conditioners someday custom for clients. I may be getting old but getting wiser too. No one talks about this at Hershey.

I found out just what was predicted here about custom ordering shampoos is indeed being worked on for groomers. I was talking to a manufacturer who was at Groom Expo W and his eyes opened wide. How did I know about Prose. No secrets here!!!

I just ordered shampoo and conditioner from Prose. My hair is in good shape. I usually use Herbal Essence, which works well for my hair and scalp type. The shampoo and conditioner cost $54, including shipping, which is about $48 more thsn I usually spend. I answered a few questions, then the site quickly suggested products. Hope it is worth the price. Since I am doing the iv san bernard course, I have an interest in shampoos.

    I don't know.
Cute website. They must be spending money like water, because their offices are in nyc.

I received my order of Prose shampoo and conditioner.
Packaging: Made-to-order cardboard box, with product inserted in cut-outs. No chance of spilling during transit. Plastic bottles. 2 pumps provided to use with products. Well-packaged.
Labels: Simple labels on colored paper.
Fun factor: My name was on the label. There was a paper addressed to me with information.
Scent: I chose one of their 3 scents.
Texture: Both the shampoo and conditioner were dense, in that diluting them helps with application.
How well did the products work on my hair: They unfortunately were not better, and in fact less effective, than the Herbal Essence products I currently use. My hair looked slightly less smooth than it does with the Herbal Essence. The ends felt dry after a day.
How effective is the algorithm? Their website asks a few questions about your hair and your goals, as well as your age and location. I wanted smooth hair. The products did not do any better than the basic drugstore product I use.
    Would I buy again? No.
Is it a fun gimmick? Yes.
Is it going to work in a pet salon situation? Not unless they radically change it. In fact, my guess is that they are being supported by venture capital funding, and will go out of business within a year. (I could be 100% wrong.)
    I wish them well though!
