    I agree with you. I understand why people say to give it a chance, but in my experience, gut feelings can be right. Is there something else that you're uncomfortable about?
    Telling a working person to show up, misrepresenting the amount of hours they'll be working, is dishonest and insensitive at best, but also can be destructive. What if that person turned down another job? What if they cancelled all plans for the week?
    Honestly, I'd be looking for another job.

    I had 3 jobs where I just stuck it out before I got a good employer, and then went on my own after that. Look at it this way, you will learn all the ways not to treat employees should you decide to build a business.

    I am still here and with the holiday it is very busy. I am getting along but some things the other employees say is worry. They think I may be let go in January. I am still looking.
