Just a few thoughts. The start of school usually will be a time for business to fall off some. I see you are in Florida. Maybe a little hurricane angst? Do you pre-book clients? This almost certainly will guarantee a steady business.
Old groomers never die, they just go at a slower clip.

    Groom on!!!

Karla has some good ideas. The best one is pre booking. I learned it from the pro in the from problems to profits book. You think it is impossible but more than half my clients book standing or call to schedule me in that book. It really is brilliant. So we are NEVER really slow. Most pre books keep their appts or possibly delay a week. Changed the whole game. Takes some time and commitment but never being slow is a warm cozy feeling.

One hundred percent get a scheduling program in place. We are never slow. Not always booked when slow things come up but enough to keep us going well.
