    Smile Cat Cat coat conditioner

I have been using Miracle Coat leave in, any other suggestions from experience?

IMO I prefer to not use conditioner on cats at all. I want a beautiful, light and airy finish by gently and thoroughly degreasing the coat. Every time I see a conditioner used on a cat, the fluffy finish is gone and is either weighed down or the coat looks stringy. I like Chubbs bars (2 washes) on the cats I groom.

Ditto lyttleavyn in almost all cases. Since they "groom" themselves so much no need to leave more chemicals or organic compounds in the coat either.

The National Cat Groomers Institute of America teaches groomers to NEVER use conditioner on a cat......usually cats have very oily skin and you don't need conditioner to make it oilier. I skip conditioner on some Yorkies, for the same reason.

    Happy skipping
