Roxy the schnauzer, first grooming, didnt like her face done much but the owner wanted her body much longer than the typical #10 we get asked to do and I was happy to do it so we went with a 2 comb

Spicy chow was matted but so sweet even pulling on her skin as I tried to save some length, she ended up with a 4 blade

Momma chow got a purple flower to match her purple tongue. I seriously love working with chows, I know they can be sketchy but honestly they are one of my favorite breeds

Some very cute grooms, I missed this thread. OMG those nails. I just hate seeing that, so uncomfortable on the dogs. Five chows!

Great job! Can't stop thinking about those atrocious nails! Wow! Love the little Maltese mix I think it was. Very cute.

I hate seeing nails like that too, I tend to grab the dog and do the nails right away so it doesnt have to stand on them all day. So satisfying to get them short again though!

I have seen dogs go so long without their nails being clipped it isn't that get so bad they even grow into the pads which is terrible, but their JOINTS. They get bad knees, hips and shoulders. I saw one so bad the dog walked as if it was crippled from some other cause, no it was nails where the dog was in pain just putting some weight on its paws.

Oh I know! What gets me is the dogs that DONT act like theyre in pain, Iíve had dogs with nails growing into the pad and coming out the other side and they dont even flinch touching or cutting it, and nails so long they end up crossing their toes. I always recommend bringing them in for just nails but so few actually do

The pain threshold of animals can be pretty astounding. I love it when I discover something the dog isn't making a big deal out and see it gets relieved. Making the world better one dog at a time I guess you could say.
