Beaming Electronic virtual pet care toy back for 20th anniversary in UK

82 million of these were sold in the past, but here is the new revival. Part of the game toy is that you have to groom and feed your virtual pets against time.

Yeah .... That makes me feel old .... I remember when these came out , me and my 2 younger sisters had one each and they were great.

I remember my mum saying "if you can look after it then we can think about getting a pet ( we already had a rat each at this point ,mine was called socks ... Black with white socks ! Very imaginative for a 6 year old , then we had misty a white one and ratty a brown one the 2year old named ratty)

I got very upset when my Tami died.mum bought me a new one saying Tami just went back into its egg to sleep! Haha .

Two things I couldn't keep alive at that age: Houseplants and Tamagotchi.

That's me, with houseplants! Never had a Tamagotchi though, but I remember all the craze about them.

So had one as a kid. I was fun for a week or two and then was lost somewhere in my room and never seen again. Same with Furbys. It was cool initially then just became annoying.

I currently have a gigantic aloe plant, a pot with mixed herbs, a pothos vining plant, a christmas cactus, an angel fern, and a spider plant. Not to mention the outdoor raised beds. Still have some cherry tomatoes going in this crazy weather. I HAVE to have greenery in my house. I think I would have more if I had the room. =)

I can manage cactus, I have like 8. I can also do spider plants because they're easy to care for.

I tried growing tomatoes (my favorite food ever) and it ended poorly.

Couldn't keep my Tamagotchi alive either. Don't like plants in my house but can't seem to kill them. Dh seems to feel the need to water them...

For my 8th birthday I wanted a 3ft cactus. I over watered it, killed it with love.

I wonder 20 years later if the new batteries last longer and so there is less work or did they keep the timing the same lol
