Default Cat grooming in a vet clinic in addition to house call

When I can't groom a cat, and the cat appears to be only groom-able under sedation, I don't have any options right now. I do house call, so can't sedate. I don't have a good local vet clinic with a good cat groomer.
I'm thinking of talking to one particular excellent feline veterinary practice about having them examine & sedate my clients, and then I would groom the cat. I'd still be independent, and this would only happen a few times a year since most of my clients are fine without sedation. Upside for the clinic is that they might get some more clients.
I wouldn't share my fee. They'd make money off the exam and sedation.
    What do you think?

I think it is a great idea......but the vet is probably going to want part of your fee. Only way to know for sure is to ask the vet you are thinking about.
Ain't always easy to stand up for what is right.

Hopefully the vet won't want more than a token fee since they would get a sedation/office visit fee. I would think that is reasonable and you should be getting paid a bit more for handling a sedated cat, call it special care services.

Are you going to groom the cat clients of the vet too?
