    Sad Closed for a week

Our whole block of town had a pipe burst and no water. They said the estimated fix is one week. Hours to call everyone booked and re-book. A week of pay gone.

That stinks for you. Hope all your clients are gracious and understanding for you.
Try to make the best of it by getting some of 'those projects' done that you've been putting off. I sort of envy you in that way.

This happened to us a few years ago. What a mess. I advanced money to my staff (3) for those that needed to pay bills. We got through it. Sorry for you but hopefully you will be solid busy even OT who knows.

So sorry. Has happened to me. Hoping your customers take this opportunity to show you how much they value your work and that you hear nice things when you reschedule them.

Thank you for your thoughts and guess what? A miracle. Another shop in town heard about the story in the paper and called me and said if I bring my clients there I can groom them on a spare at her shop. Saved! I really need the money for bills this month.

Wow! How wonderful of them. When that happened to me, the salon around the corner was in same boat cause we on same water line. The road guys didn't even warn me cause I'm on street around corner and should be connected to different line, but my shop is part of old building with 4 connected business and apartments above, so my water came from the same line. That was fun
