    Default Hair splinter! Help?

I got my first hair splinter last night and I have no idea what to do. I somehow got one on my big toe right by the nail bed and I do wear socks and boots while I groom. I tried soaking it and that helped a little but it's still bothering me today.

Does anyone have any tricks or advice? Thanks in advance

Someone on here ages ago mentioned duct tape. It's supposed to pull the hair out. Maybe worth a try.
Old groomers never die, they just go at a slower clip.

    Groom on!!!

Soak in Epsom salts , dry and then put some duct tape over it. Should pull out with the tape in 12 to 24 hours.
However, if it is already starting to look red and infected you can soak in a warm/hit water and bleach solution (about 1/2 to 1 cup bleach in a foot bath ) and then use tape.

Would suggest in the future putting powder in your socks before work.
