Default Some recent grooms and twin Shihs who don't know eachother!

I can hardly remember to take pictures! Or when I do, my phone is dead! (I forgot to take a before pic of the pup in second pic ... She's the Yorkie/Pom sitting in her owners lap...) and the last picture, is two Shihs who were not related that I know of, the owners didn't know eachother, and they had different haircuts, but they had the same gray brindle and white coat! The owners picked up at the same time and had a fit over how similar they were. If it were a common coat color we saw in our shop it wouldn't be a big deal but the one with the long ears is a new customer (same dog as one of my before and after pictures above) and was in bad shape. They just happened to make an appt on the same day as one of our more regular but not frequent clients (who gets their dog shaved down after it mats instead of brushing our regular grooming). I did the one with the longer ears, my co-worker did the other. I know we aren't supposed to put dogs together but we had to take a pic! They liked eachother, we made sure of that first, lol.

They all look adorable! But my new years wish for you is clients who want fluffy instead of requesting/needing naked mole rats! Geez-it's not that hard to brush your dog! Much more fun when we get to use our shears instead of just the good old 7F.

Love the pup in 2nd pic. I quite frequently have "twin dogs" that owners don't know each other on the same day.....if they pick up at the same time, they sometimes think I am give the wrong dog to the wrong person, lol....we always have a good laugh when they see their dogs are twins.
Ain't always easy to stand up for what is right.

Yes, lol. I need practice on my scissor work... Lol especially legs. I do not like doing legs, no no no. I don't even like clipping them. It's so hard for me to do!

They look good. Clients who bring in dogs in that condition do not deserve a fluffy coat and my time to do it. I will give them a cute face but stripped body and legs. See you in a year.

    You're right Tom. It's sad.
