Heck, I have two pairs of Stylist Wear pants, same color, same style, bought the same day. One fits, one doesn't! Consistency is not their strong point....now I make my own. When I can. Otherwise I wear dress pants.

    Default Tikima pants

I ordered Tikima grooming pants and they fit. I'm small and everything else is like a tent on me.

Stylist Wear makes me insane!! I love their smocks, but the colors are always off. I had to order swatches just to get somewhere near the color I thought I was looking for! As for grooming pants, I'm short and can't find ones that arent 4 miles longer than my legs. I have to roll them up and then they always come un-rolled, which means the crotch rips. In 5 years I have never had a pair w/out a hole there!!

Oh I really like these, I'm going to get me a pair ;-)

instead of folding them up, take them to a tailor. For less than $10 you can usually get them cut and hemmed. Save a bunch of money in the process.

I have a difficult time finding clothing in general because I am tall & very ... (well hyper-active thyroid is a nicer way of putting it). I can honestly say that I have only one piece of grooming attire (pant wise) that are long enough, I found them back in 2000 at groom expo and the lady there said she could 'make them for me'. Basically she had to measure me to insure the right length.. her eyes almost popped out but she make me a jumper.. I used to wear it a lot, but it is not fun when one has to make a 'pit stop'.
I found that most manufacturer's make for average length, even talls are only 34". I thank all the posts here for the suggestions to look in 'other' places besides just grooming attire. It is really tough having a 38" inseam at my weight... I am very excited to go out and look now for something new and hope they fit! Thanks everyone!

Jiggy not grooming pants, but awesome!

This is the first time I have an idea that I use that might help someone! I'm so happy

I was wearing scrubs. then ordered a pair of grooming pants that were water resistant..NOT!

I was in Winners one day and found these leather looking pants, and thought to myself, hmm, for $20 bucks, it's worth a try!

I used them for a week. I washed dogs, I held them under the shower head, I even wore them when I rode my bike in a downpour...my legs were dry as can be! They are fairly thick so hairs don't poke through, you can wipe them off if they get dirty, and they are long legs...you can cut and hem them to whatever length you want. Hair does not stick to them at all!

I went back and bought 4 more pairs the next week, and since then, pretty much every customer has asked where I got them, cause they look stylish, make your legs look long and they are super comfy.
I love them and I still have 3 pairs with the tags on them, but after 3 months, mine are showing no wear at all.

In my opinion, they are the best thing ever!

They sound interesting, what brand are they? My inseam is 38" so I have a difficult time finding pants. I have bought just about every pair of Levi's that is even close to my size although I still have to alter them. My grandmother taught me how to sew at an early age but if I can avoid making to many nips & tucks I would love to find them.
I am not familiar with the store you listed so if you have a brand name on them, I can look for them online. I wear a 30x38, do you think they would work?

    Smile Leather look pant brand

They work for me, and Winner's is like a designer store at discount prices...they sell everything! The label says : La Classe Couture.
I've seen commercials for a store in the US that is basically the same as Winners but I can't think of the name for the life of me...
Maybe the label will help though. Mine are 36" inseam and there is about a 1-1/2 inch hem on them, so I think they would be great for you. Even if they are a bit to short, you could add a piece on the bottom of vinyl , or just wear shoes that come up over your ankle.

    Clown holding under water

oh, when I said I held them under water, I did mean the pants...not the dogs LOL!
Just thought I better clarify that!

Thanks so much smart n pretty, I checked out the link you sent. Cool stuff but the longest I could find was a 34 length.. shoot! It is not easy being me ( I think a kids cartoon character said that LOL) Im now approaching 50 and all my adult life I have had such a hard time finding things that fit, but I will not give up! I do usually keep jeans for about 10+ yrs until they just about fall apart but I will have to keep looking to see if I can find a sales receipt for the jumper that gal made for me back in 2000, maybe she still offers made to order. Ive sewn alot of my own clothing but when it comes to work clothes, I like the idea of having something that is super reinforced and I still have the jumper and it still looks fine.

I used to have a customer that shopped there. Her legs were 38". You have to order "talls".

What I do is go to the outlet mall and search thru Adidas and Nike mainly... Their athletic pant material is just like our smocks... and I LOVE them... and I can usually get them for around $25.00... but actually I just picked up a pair at Meijer, Adidas for $29, on sale from $36...

I had ordered SW bell bottom pants... and sigh, they were too short... but I also thought they were super thin.... like it wouldn't take much to split a seam...

Adidas and Nike even have lined athletic pants which is good for me in the winter, considering I'm mobile...

If you don't have an outlet mall near you, I'm sure you can find a Meijer, Dick's, JCPenny's - at least to try them on and see if they would work for you... I have to honestly say that I have never looked at the women's section for them, because I know they would never be long enough for me...

    Hope this helps!
I'm really tall too but I got the EZ-wear pants from pet edge (they were like 10$) and they are so long, I had to wear them all the way up past my waste so they wouldn't touch the floor, I altered them though and they fit much better, they have pockets and I love them..not the most stylish but for 10$ you really can't beat it...

I do like the idea of the pants from nike and adidas, basically any "wind-breaker" type clothing is the exact same as the water/hair proof material we wear. I had an old pair that i found, and I took out the cloth material underneath, and its basically the exact same....plus its cooler in the summer, and they are readily available and cheap...i guarantee if you go around to thrift stores and your local goodwill or salvation army, you'll find the wind-breaker type clothes and you can do the same to them....they really do work perfectly...
