Bev - you may also want to go with nylon grooming clothes. The dog/cat hair just doesn't stick. I used to have that problem when I work cotton smocks. I have not had the problem since I switched to the nylon version.

Sloggers are best of both worlds. Vented only on the sides (never have issue with wet feet, I actually wear socks), inexpensive (only 20 bux a pair, I was able to try them on at Ace Hardware), and they come with a removable (but very comfy) insole, which is antibacterial. I bought two pairs since they were so cheap (and I like to alternate to give the other pair a day to air out).
I really am a fan, and I had some Crocs... they just feel better, can't quite put my finger on it.
